Representation with a lawyer's eye
Most agents can spot an opportunity. Fewer can read the clauses that decide whether it is actually good for you. Because Jamo is both an accredited agent and a qualified business lawyer, the detail in a contract gets a sharper read than most agents can offer.
What representation covers
- Contract negotiation and review
- Club and stakeholder relationships
- Sponsorship and commercial deals
- Career and transfer strategy
- Brand and reputation management
- Long-term planning, including life and income beyond playing
Local, and direct
You deal with Jamo directly, every time. No call centre, no being handed to junior staff. For a Queensland athlete and their family, that means straight answers from someone who knows the local pathways and is a short drive away.
Who we work with
G2G is selective. We back athletes who are serious, coachable and ready to do the work, and we have supported athletes at every level, from grassroots through to an Olympic gold medallist and an Australian Test cricketer. If you are not sure whether you are ready, that is exactly what the first call is for.
Common questions.
Do you have to use an accredited agent in the AFL?
To be represented in AFL contract negotiations you must use an agent accredited by the AFL Players’ Association, or negotiate yourself through a parent or legal guardian. Jamo is an accredited AFL player agent.
Do you only work with AFL players?
No. Jamo is an accredited AFL player agent, and G2G has also worked with athletes in other sports, including Olympic and cricket athletes. Get in touch about your sport and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.
Do you only work with Gold Coast athletes?
We are based in Robina on the Gold Coast and work with athletes across Queensland and beyond. Most first conversations happen by phone or video, so where you are is rarely a barrier.
Can parents get in touch on behalf of a young athlete?
Yes. Parents and families are welcome to get in touch. Tell us about the athlete, their age and their goals, and we will set up a call that includes the people who matter.
